The last time I blogged about the Ultimate Reset I was on day 6, now I am one week out of finishing it. My 21 day journey ended well and was enjoyable for me. If you would have asked me two years ago if I'd ever go vegan I would have said "that's crazy and no way". Well times have changed in terms of my fitness and my mind set about eating.
So how did I do it, Mr. never going to try being a vegan. Well the program is very well laid out with what to eat on each day. It was really more about the mental rather than the physical with this. The one thing for sure is I am always determined to finish a workout program, therefore this time I took the mind set that this was really just another workout program but this time it was for my insides. I didn't starve myself, I didn't lose muscle mass, and I didn't become sickly looking. What I did was become as of today is 13 lbs. lighter and feeling healthy, and also much more conscious of what I put into my body to fuel it.
I would recommend the Reset for anyone. It is getting some outstanding and astonishing results, with some dropping their cholesterol by as much as 40 points. The main thing is to keep an open mind and be willing to try new foods. I tried and liked foods that before I would never imagined I would be eating. The menu was very good and it taught me how to prepare food to be very simple and flavorful. There are things I am still cooking and will be a part of my normal nutrition regimen from now on. Along with the food, the new Vegan Chocolate Shakeology is amazing and is my new favorite.
This was not a huge transition for me because I ate fairly healthy to begin with. My advice is do your homework about the Ultimate Reset. I did my homework and listen to others that had done this before I did and had such a great support group through each phase of it on Facebook. My friend dropped out after 3 days due to not reading up on this and really seeing what he had to do. I'm here to tell you, you will have to prep and cook and again be willing to try new things. If your not use to that this will be an adjustment for you but it shouldn't be a road block.
There are so many valuable lessons to learn from an experience like this that you owe it to yourself to give it a go. What have you got to lose except some bad habits and maybe a few pounds and possible points off your counts.

I did the reset too. Shredded down a bit, and it really broadened my food horizon.
