You did P90X and got no results?
I am asked frequently if programs like P90X and Insanity work. The simple answer is yes they do work, but there is and underlying part to how they work. It's not just about the workout. You see most want to have the results they see in the infomercials. However they don't always want to do what is necessary to get those results. Often when you mention to them that the program is 6-7 days a week and that you have to eat right is when you reveal their true desire.I often tell people the workouts are the easy part, and most that start find this to be true after a couple of weeks. The hard part is the nutrition. When someone tells me they are not getting results, the first thing I think of is nutrition. You see when I started P90X I had the same mentality as some do. I'm putting in the work so I can eat how I want. I got results, just not astounding results. I have seen this time and again by people I know. You justify your nutrition by the hard workouts your doing, then get upset because the results are not what was expected. The hard work in the workout is canceled out by the poor nutrition. They go hand in hand. Poor nutrition is not just about eating the wrong stuff . It may be a situation that you are eating the right kind of food but you may not be eating enough. I worked with someone once that laughed when I told them they were not eating enough and needed to eat more. It's very simple 500-1000 calories in a day is not enough to fuel your body with a program like P90X or Insanity, and probably not enough for most regimens. You must eat to lose weight, fuel your body for your workouts.
The reality of any good program is that nutrition is the key. Like the saying goes "you can't look like a million bucks if your eating off the dollar menu." After doing the Ultimate Reset and continuing to eat very similar I can tell you nutrition is so key. You must put in equally hard work on your nutrition.
Your nutrition and the workouts are the one two punch in the battle of the bulge. To have a great body you have to have both.
So does P90X work? Yes, the real question is... how are you going to work to make it work for you?
Always remember...
